When I opened Personalized Skin Care, my goal was never simply to perform facials. I wanted to create a place where every client received honest guidance, personalized treatments, and skin care that truly fit their unique needs.

Over the years, I’ve learned one important truth:

The Story Behind Personalized Skin Care

Every great journey begins with a single opportunity.

Mine started at the age of 17, when I was given the chance to work in a dermatologist’s office. It was there that I discovered my passion for skin care and saw firsthand how improving someone’s skin could also improve their confidence and quality of life.

Early in my career, I had the privilege of working alongside Dr. James E. Fulton, one of the pioneers in acne research and co-developer of Retin-A®. Under his guidance, I gained valuable experience in medical skin care and learned the importance of combining science with personalized treatment.

Wanting to expand my knowledge beyond the medical setting, I later transitioned into the spa industry. There, I discovered that exceptional skin care isn’t only about correcting problems—it’s also about creating an experience that allows clients to relax, recharge, and feel cared for.

I realized that neither approach alone was enough.

Medical skin care delivered results, while the spa experience nurtured the person behind the skin. I envisioned a place where both could exist together.

In 1993, that vision became Personalized Skin Care.

From the very beginning, my goal has been simple: treat every client as an individual. No two people have the same skin, lifestyle, or goals, so no two treatment plans should ever be identical.

More than three decades later, that philosophy continues to guide everything we do.

Today, Personalized Skin Care combines advanced clinical treatments with barrier-focused skin wellness inspired by Korean skin care principles. Every facial, every product recommendation, and every treatment plan is thoughtfully customized to help clients achieve healthier, stronger, and more radiant skin.

While technology, ingredients, and treatments have evolved over the years, one thing has never changed—my commitment to providing honest guidance, personalized care, and results that help people feel confident in their own skin.
